Commission a Personal Artwork

A special building. The place where you grew up. A city full of memories. Or a company building that forms part of an organisation's history.

Govart creates commissioned art inspired by places that matter.

From a detailed drawing of a single building to a completely new cityscape combining several locations and memories.

For yourself, as a meaningful gift or as a business commission.

Have a building drawn

From architecture to artwork

Would you like to capture a house, office, monument or another meaningful building as a work of art?

Govart translates architecture into a detailed illustration that focuses on the building's recognisable character.

• Your current home
• Your childhood home
• A student house
• A company building
• A wedding venue
• A favourite Rotterdam landmark
• A building that no longer exists

A personal artwork of a place you do not want to forget.

Have a city or location drawn

Your favourite place, reimagined

Sometimes the story is not about a single building, but about an entire place.

A street, neighbourhood, skyline, city or combination of locations can form the basis of a new artwork.

Govart can bring several recognisable elements together in one composition. The result does not need to be a literal view of reality, but can instead become your personal image of a place.

From Rotterdam to a city on the other side of the world.

Personal artwork

Your story in one image

Some stories do not fit an existing collection. You might want to combine a childhood home with the place someone lives today, add the Erasmus Bridge to a wedding venue, or bring together several buildings from someone's life.

Together we decide which elements matter most. Govart then turns them into a unique artwork in which place, architecture and personal memories come together.

Suitable for yourself or as a special gift for a wedding, anniversary, retirement, farewell or birthday.

Commissioned art for businesses

An artwork connected to your organisation

Govart also creates commissioned art for companies and organisations. A company building, project, development or meaningful location can be translated into artwork connected to the organisation's story.

• Office or reception spaces
• Opening of a new building
• Company anniversaries
• Employee farewell or anniversary gifts
• Corporate gifts
• Real estate projects or project completion
• Special editions for employees or clients

Depending on the commission, the work can be created as a single artwork or produced in a limited number of copies.

From idea to artwork

How does a commission work?

1. Tell your story

Send your idea, photographs and any relevant information about the building or location. You do not need to know exactly what the final work should look like yet.

2. We define the composition

Together we decide which buildings, places and personal elements should be included and how they can work as one composition.

3. Govart creates the artwork

The design is developed in Govart's recognisable style, with attention to architecture, perspective and detail.

4. The artwork is produced

Depending on the commission, the final work can be produced as a high-quality fine art print, canvas or another agreed format.

5. Ready for your wall

The result is an artwork created specifically for you or your organisation rather than selected from an existing collection.
