On the occasion of the wedding of our son and daughter-in-law we were looking for an original gift for the wall in their newly renovated house. We were happy that we ended up on Govert's website and were pleasantly surprised by all the beautiful drawings/paintings he made of our beloved city. After we spoke to each other on the phone, I immediately had the feeling that Govert knew exactly what I meant by personalizing the wedding gift... Rotterdam as a starting point but then interwoven with all the places that are important to the bridal couple. In addition to the places in Rotterdam, Govert also managed to blend their future home (in Schiedam) and the places they visited together in London into the skyline of Rotterdam... Really super beautiful!!!!.

Beautiful artwork of De Kuip ordered as a gift for my boyfriend. There was some hassle with the delivery: the package would be delivered according to the delivery service but that was not the case at all. I immediately contacted Govert from Art of Rotterdam and he immediately followed up, even though it was due to the delivery service. A day later the package was still there. For my work as a captain on a commercial aircraft I have been living abroad for years. Yet I have felt like a Rotterdammer all that time. I wanted something on the wall that could help me remember where I come from. For this reason I ordered a canvas from Govert a few years ago.
